Together with the mediator from NEW PATRONS and the Swiss artist Rémy Zaugg, they begin an eight-year adventure of redesigning and rebuilding their village, in so doing restoring the self-image of their small community. They build walls and pathways, a large pond, and bridge traditional construction with contemporary materials and forms. Their action becomes a symbol for the attempt to save this impoverished and thinly populated region.
